Wonderful art

(At least it looks like a Unimog.)
”The Mercedes-Benz Unimog was an all-purpose utility truck first released in 1947.
The terms of surrender imposed on Germany included severe limitations on military manufacturing. As such, the Unimog was originally designed as a civilian agricultural vehicle. It became quite successful and was eventually adopted by the fledgling West German Army, then by other armed forces around the world.
The Unimog is known for its ability to handle virtually terrain and has been used in a number of military capacities, including as a troop transport and a field ambulance. New models in the Unimog line are still being released.”

Huzzah! It’s officially October!
Last year I believe I lazily went with a regular winter coat and WWII soldier helmet with the netting because it was so cold. I don’t know what costume I’ll choose this year, I might not even be allowed to head out. Neverless! I want to at least pretend to wear a costume, and I hope some of you would too, for fun.
Woo! Got my first paycheck!
-I can’t say how much because privacy-
But wow, this is it, huh?
”The Camouflage du Materiel were a group of French, anti-German engineers who worked on secret military designs in the German-puppeted state of Vichy France during WWII
Their work stopped when the Germans occupied Vichy France in November 1942, but resumed under the pretense of inventing a tracked snow removal vehicle.

After liberation, the French government wanted to restore its prestige and military power and decided to produce a new tank based on their designs. The result was the ARL-44. Due to the sever limitations of industry in postwar France, the tank did not enter production until 1949. By then it was outdated, and the French quickly replaced them with American M45 Pattons, and all ARL-44's had been replaced by 1953.”

•Only 60 of these were made
•It's hull was 722 cm long
•The ARL-44 was a Heavy tank
•It’s armor was 120 mm thick, or 4.7 inches
•It's V12 engine had 575 horsepower
•It weighed 11.3 tonnea
•It's top speed was 30km/h or 19mph
•Only 3 exist today (recorded 2008)

Arquebusier (Medieval Musket)
Italian: Archibugio
Dutch: haakbus

Early arquebuses of the 15th century were an inspiration from Chinese gunpowder techniques, as the new muzzle-loaded match-locked weapons spread across the world slowly, then quickly to replace the sword as firearm technology improved.

However, this was the 15th century, and this firearm was fairly primitive... This was even before the musket.
Awkward and slow to fire, but it could punch through a highly visible knight's armor on horseback!
They were often deployed with pikemen to ward off horsemen because of the slow fire rate, like in Spanish Terico squads.

Hello, hello, hello. I am Judge. I prefer not to use my real name, but you can call me whatever suits your fancy.
I have loads of freetime, and it gets quite lonely around here, so don't be shy! Drop a message or a note, I'll respond within an hour (unless I'm asleep. It will then take 9 hours.)

I get bored easily around here, unless I'm suddenly utterly swamped by messages or have none at all.
