Long time no see. Sorry for being almost invisible here, but life has been incredibly demanding since I last had the chance to post. Of course I've been busy creating for my shops in the 3D world, as well as adjusting to a few twists that have been thrown my way in recent weeks.
First and foremost, my oldest son, who many of you may or may not know was born with a rare skin condition called congenital nevus, was recently also diagnosed with autism and ADHD.
As you can imagine, it's a bit of a pill to swallow after seven years of thinking he was okay aside from the spots on his skin. Still, he continues to inspire us all, being in the top 4% in his grade level for Reading and top 5% for math. He's incredibly bright, but has a very, very difficult time staying focused to the point his teacher showed us a video of him dancing around the room while the rest of the class sat quietly for a lesson. So, needless to say, I've focused all my energy as of late on learning more about his condition and it's been quite involved in trying to understand everything I can do as his parents to help him continue to grow up as normally as possible without feeling like he's different than his friends and classmates. Thank goodness his teacher is so understanding and as patient as she has been. Without here, I doubt we'd be at this point, but perhaps some where much worse with how active he is.
Likewise, with the shift of attention to him, I'm not throwing out content as fast as I would like, but it's with good reason obviously. Family first is my number one rule. I know my groups here have suffered as well and I feel bad about it, but ya have to have the right priorities, ya know?
In the meantime, I'm happy to announce that I'm still alive and well, doing what I can in the art world and would like to personally like to thank everyone who's been supportive from the start. You all who have are also one of the reasons I'm able to keep going every day with what I love to do so much. I can't thank you enough.
For now though, much work to do and I've gotta pick my little hero up from school soon. Stay tuned though. New stuff, art and content, on the way.
