Imagine a Sonic Rush 3 on the Nintendo Switch to end the Sonic Rush series by introducing Silver into the main plot. Since Eggman Nega is from the future and Blaze is from the Sol Dimension, the fact that he is in the first two Rush games doesn't canonically make sense, therefore Rush 3 could bring Silver into the mix, traveling there after tracking him down to finish him off before he ruins another dimension, especially not wanting him to ruin Blaze's.
Gameplay: Same as both of the past Rush games, except with graphics akin to Unleashed. Silver would also have the boost and homing attack like Sonic and Blaze, but would also be able to perform his psychokinesis and fly (similar to Blaze's hovering). The final boss would be Super Sonic, Super Silver, and Burning Blaze coming together to put a stop to Eggman and Eggman Nega once and for all! Special Stages and the Final Boss would be completely 3D rather than side-scrolling

Late to reply, but this would be a perfect way to end the story started in Sonic 06, Sonic Rush and Rush Adventure, and Sonic Rivals 1 and 2. I hope Captain Whisker can come back as well as Blaze's main enemy in the Sol Dimension, while Silver battles Eggman Nega across time and in their future. And following up on Rivals, Eggman Nega could be trying to find something related to Solaris and the Sol Dimension both. And be pretending to be some unknown benefactor to Eggman while reviving Captain Whisker to help them.
