My dad died late July. Finally finished all paperwork regarding him. So both my parents are dead. That part of my life is over.
I guess I have free time to work on and post art again... *sigh* I will at least 100 percent have the rest of DarkDragons: Blue posted up before the end of the year as I finished drawing/painting it a long while ago and scanned it, just didn't resize and clean it up for internet posting.

Thank you whoever gifted me a membership for my birthday month! and also sorry the Valentine comic is going to be finished and posted long after Valentines day, real life is getting in the way of art
New art for the New Year
Still dealing with a lot in my life. So, so much. BUT I will have new art ready to go sometime after the New Year (2023), I promise.
The problem is (other than all the real life issues) that I keep imagining scenes for DrawBlood Part 5. But I can't work on that or post that until I finish Part 4. Even though technically I never finished Part 2. Or coloring parts 1 and 3. But I can't post any more of Part 4 and have it make sense (or have it have the impact it should) without finishing DarkDragons: Blue which was supposed to originally be short but is now over 100 pages and still going (though I have it roughly planned out plot wise, the exact set up of each page and how many pages per scene I decide as I draw them). I wish I had an assistant to help draw and figure out page setups and I could just tell them the ideas, they would rough it out and I would do the finishing touches *sigh*
And as a reminder, to those who followed me for fanart: NOT doing any more of that ever.
WTF What happened to devart?
I was just logging in to say my comic was going to be later than expected, but that I'm still working on it and want to have it up sometime this year and deviantart completely changed. I HATE IT. CHANGE IT BACK.
the return of DrawBlood
So I stopped working on that DarkDragons comic once it became Spring... since it takes place in Winter I just wasn't in the mood for it anymore ( when I force myself to draw when not in the mood for the subject, the art gets BAD. You don't want bad art! ). I will go back to it once it gets cold again!Instead I found my old plans and some unfinished pages for DrawBlood part 4. So no, I didn't forget about that comic even though it's literally been YEARS! And maybe my comic making has improved a little since I started it... but it also takes me longer to draw pages. I'll give you one little spoiler, though... it starts with Shena's escap...
