Lavender Harp
Lavender strings on a delicate harp
Grasp my attention
Unwilling to let go or dissipate
Harmonious melodies fill the air
And nothing stops the virtuous winds from carrying it
Tending so sweetly to the aching ears and lonely hearts
That the strings plucked would only start
A carousel of meaning and rhythm
Defined only by the perspective of all
Individually yearning to relax and fall
Like a flock of lambs behind a Shepard
They follow suit
As the medley carries swift
And the pulse does slow
The heart's trance only deepens
Till the tune stops
It's strings no longer plucked
For the delicate harp of lavender essence
Purely pours only lessons in life.

Title 4
The true you i want to know
How the touch of your fingertips
Aches for the touch of mine
That our hands could reach out and entwine
Perhaps these tender feelings can come and go
So i just want you to know
That you're so special, so special to me
And although i wallow in misery
You're the sweetest thing
The most delicate kind
It's you, your existence
I can't get off of my mind
So many times my heart will beat
Yet only a few times i will speak
Letting my rare words break free
Hoping to find
To tell you dear, what's on my mind.

Loved one
Sing along to her favourite song
A voice so pure angels wished they could sing
Darkness had no place, could never reign in
Yet that soft and delicate voice
Teetered ever gracefully away
Till the sun disappeared
And the moon reminisced
This heart of mine aches for your loving kiss
At least now she's at peace
In the bosom of an angel, flying so high
That death now is my only wish, a great insist
For these lonely nights are filled with only cries.

Title 3
The nice ones are away
And i wonder how long it'll take
Till i have one just like you in my arms
One day i hope, if it's pain free
That someone like her would love me
How i hope and try
To see the good in this life
She'll take me there, by the hand
Guiding me to another land
So to dispel any rumours
It's probably best that she should know
As far as you are, happy can be
I like you much more than i could ever say
I hope that one day, i'll find someone just like you
Is that ok?

She
Whisked away on the urge of a fall
The loneliness one did feel, almost surreal
Till the wall of love did appear
Climbing over it to reach you
A longing and true connexion, sparked
How I wish for us to start
To hold each other close as long as we can
More than hand in hand
A soul entwine from which we can only unravel
Let love exceed the journey
And romance travel
Upon which words fail to grasp this atmosphere
Should emotions be defined
They're no longer yours or mine
Let not one moment stop or pause
As the hearts of two people will meet
And there language of the heart shines through
A language so mystical, so rare
Only you or I could go there
And such things stem from an imagination that ponders
Do such things exist?
The love and romance, chemistry combined
The eighth wonder of the world as such
Requiring only a kiss, a heart and your touch.

You
When I wake up
My eyes simply cannot believe
It's you I want, it's you I need
Perhaps this will shine through
Tomorrow's happiness is today's gloom
And while the heart aches
I cannot mistake each minute
Or every hour, that a beat
Shakes my very feet
For what would I do?
Without the thought of you
While the sun gives way to a little rain
On a dark day, you shine through
It may get cold or a little windy
But the essence of you too
Can't escape wishful imagination
Romantic translation and simple sighs
You, I will not deny
Simple smiles or even luck
Without you, my sunshine
Forever I'm stuck.
For what could be more pure than a scented rose?
Forever thorny without disclose
Should your mystery disappear
I'll still be here, waiting for that light to shine through
No matter how many times I usher
No flower bunch or cluster
Will lead me to define anything less than loving you.

Tropical Beach
Tropical beach, you in the sun
And i can feel the rays beating down
Oh life has begun
Can this last forever?
I beg no more rainy days
Cos girl we'll both run away,
And i can't fathom what we'd do next
So baby, baby girl, let's just dance,
(Tropical beach ooooh)
The Sun is beating down
And i, oh i, have my feet firmly on the ground
I see you, basking in that lovely sunlight
I know, i know it's just right
Let's hope the rain will stay away
For we only have love to gain,
So let's stay happy
Enjoy the moment as it is
Before the rain comes down
And each other we'll miss.
(Let the rain fall down, oh ooh)
(As it pours, thunder shakes the ground)
(And i, i just don't want it to happen)
So let the drops fall and wash all the anger away)
(So the sun will shine and i'll have you all day)
Let's keep on living and loving strong
Together babe, we can do no wrong
So take my hand and let's walk along the beach
Let the waves dip and dive, let them touch your feet
And just like our love, we'll have many

Dazed
So long the heart did keep
Like a promise it did not sleep or wither away
Each day that passed it kept close to you
Yet when love faded the heart could not agree
That the promise you made could fade
And that love - or so it was told, could die or grow old.
And so it lays on the floor
Pieces impacted in all directions
There's little to do or say
I wish it could've ended a better way
Yet here we are again
Loveless and totally withdrawn
A little heart full of sadness, depression and scorn.
There's nothing else that could be said or done
So let the wind carry each piece away
For the heart hath seen a better day
And a better day it will see
One when it won't be betrayed by me.

Please Wait
Oh wait, please wait for goodness sake
There'll be plenty of time for that when i'm gone
Don't cry a tear for me
Cos I'll still be in your dreams
Floating, laughing and running around
So wait, please wait
For goodness sake
There'll be plenty of time for that when i'm gone
I'll sit on your mantle piece
Like a big ol' statue chief
Your very own souvenir
Though do be careful dear
Cos it's dusty this time of year
You may just blow me away a second time
So wait, please wait for goodness sake
There'll be plenty of time for that when i'm gone
Don't have to worry dear
I'm never far, just near
So all i ask is you to..
Wait, please wait
For goodness sake
There'll be plenty of time for that when i'm gone
Don't shed a lovely tear
Cos darling i'll always be near

Garden of Life
In the greenest garden of orchards and roses
An eternal spring bubbles bright
Eden lost, a beauty, paradise never lost thine sight.
A heavenly body entwined in flora and fauna
It's picturesque quality never in doubt
It's clarity and charm greet our sight
A warm welcome in the lord's faultless light.
There's no spring or fall
Summer or Autumn
Just a cool breeze carried by the wind
Nature's song, the echo of wildlife throughout this lost land
So tranquil and mystifying this garden of life is.

Poem
I saw her standing there, i saw him, his arms around her
They laughed, they smoked, they hugged and kissed
I saw it all, nothing, no detail to be missed
Yet i tried hard to figure out, many sleepless nights combing
Where had i gone wrong? What did i do?
Many nights and scenarios longing for the truth.

Started on something new. A4 on an A3.
Using Faber Castell for the portrait, my first portrait ever utilising these type.
I've considered it a bad omen to post this online too much, but since I don't post much here I hope this is an acceptable insight.
