Personal Quote: FAQ YEAH!
Wow, thank you for all the feedback on my work, man - I'm honoured to receive it from such a talented illustrator. It's always nice to get messages from people who don't draw, but those who are on the artists' path have a special place in my heart.
Uhm, there might be a typo in your last message because I do draw, a whole lot actually!
Everything in the gallery were drawn both traditionally or digitally.
I sincerely appreciate that I do have a special place in your heart.
Hopefully, I do continue to serve as an inspiration for all kinds of artist.
Be it beginners or professionals.
You do indeed draw! And, you're great at it! What I was meaning is that I get messages from people who can't draw, but I also get messages from people who can - and it's extra-nice to hear from people who are artists, like yourself.
... Apologies for not explaining myself clearly. I'm a goof! ![]()
Thanks for the clarification. Sorry to take offense on the "people who can't draw" part. Because for someone who takes this craft seriously, that was a serious attack on an artistic level. It might also be somewhat hurtful for the people that sort of "can't draw" properly as of the moment. Because it might hurt their momentum and progress. I do agree that we have to be brutally honest about how artworks could either look good or bad. But I do think that some things are better left unsaid and it would even be better to highlight the things that "that said" artist is doing correctly as of the moment. A gentle reminder would be better or even highlight more of the positives. Keep it encouraging to say the least. Because to be honest, I'd want more artists in this world. And hopefully more of those that do stay for the long run and less of those that do give up abruptly.
Sorry to blab about these things. I am an art teacher and we are encouraged to be more cautious about these things.
It's fine! It's a honest mistake. Some words do get mixed up and sometimes the tone of the words are different when read or said personally. No harm, no foul, my friend.
Thanks for the watch!
