The mental effort of more than 12 hours a day of working on the drawing and theorizing about it for a long period sometimes exhausts the senses, paradoxically stimulates them but at the same time weakens them. // El esfuerzo mental de más de 12 horas diarias de trabajo en el dibujo y teorizar sobre él por un largo periodo a veces agota los sentidos, paradójicamente los estimula pero al mismo tiempo los debilita.

A child draws or paints not expecting for a payment, his payment is already there, the result on the paper. A child doesn’t want to develope a technique in a perfect way, he is so authentic and free. Sometimes as adults we try to look perfect and show an awesome image of ourselves. In this book through these works I try not to look that “awesome” that’s why I present studies or just unfinished or sketchy drawings where you can find grids and not well erased areas. You will find finished works as well but what I want to say is not that I’m so modest, just that this is part of a process or maybe it is all that I ca

I wonder if the art of drawing should be defined under some strict rules or not. This question could also be asked about Art. The point is that I draw because I’ve done it since childhood and I’ve always liked it. Hola, I follow you i guess since the beginning of your studies and coming time by time I see your improvements and your experiments with different medias and styles, you really acheived an high level and you are a true master in traditional medias and among the best over here, congratulations and keep producing amazing artworks!

Ciao!

Yo man, I've been following you for years now. I, myself, rarely visit deviantart and draw these days, but I'm IMPRESSED you keep on posting and drawing so much!!! I envy you, really. I've been trying to return to drawing recently, but I just keep on watching youtube tutorials how to draw a face/head. I don't want to copy/paste like I used to, but draw real stuff like you. Is there something you can recommend me, say or give a hint, where to start, to see progress quickly and keep on drawing without being discouraged by a lack of progress?

I just discovered your gallery. Absolutely stunning. So professional.

Fantastic drawings, love the sanguine effects you have

Your work is amazing
