conformity vs. rebellion

This is my final project for advanced photoshop. I've been working with this idea for quite a while now and I'm happy with the way it turned out. The hands are two different pictures, composited together using layer masks. We had to use three images and composite them, but I only used two real ones and made the frame with fractal brushes. I still got full credit and he said this would be a great piece printed out. I was really flattered by his comments because he's a great teacher and he really tells us what he thinks of our work.


This took about 6 hous--a lot longer than I was anticipating, but it was because I was really detailed with the masks. It also took a little while to shoot it but Travis was very patient (they're his hands). :]
