Gimp Curves X

Click download to get the actions.

Unzip them into local disk/documents and settings/your username/gimp/curves

You don't have to ask my permission to use them. Crediting me would be nice.

It seems that these might not work with every version of Gimp. I have Gimp version 2.4, so if you have any other, these curves might not show up.
Sorry, I have no idea how to solve this problem or if that's even possible.

Really nice! I love it and works awesomely!:D
Woohoo! Thank you!!!
Works on my mac with Gimp 2.6 after pasting the text in the file into another file. Doesn't seem to like the coding at the end of the files.

Okay so I've been trying to use these actions for a while now, but I can't seem to figure it out. I looked online to see if there were any help guides, but I found nothing that would help me. I was able to download an action another person had made, and used it.. but I just can't get this one to work for some reason. Do you know what I can do?

I have a Mac.
I have the 2.6 version of Gimp.

Thank you for your time.

Hello! :)

First, SilaynneStock - thanks a bunch, this is great!

Second, babyyourestellar - I had a similar problem.

Basically, there are two types of exported curve files - old (short) and new (long with lots of parentheses inside and stuff). It is my understanding that the new ones work cross-platform. But these by Silaynne are the old ones, and they are sensitive to line ends.

What I had to do was to convert Windows line ends (CRLF) into Unix (LF). I think that if you convert the file to Mac line ends (CR), it will work. I hope this explanation isn't too confusing :)

Thank you so much!! That makes sense, I'll definitely have to try that. Thank you very much!

I'm sorry for the late reply.

And I really have no idea why they don't work in your Gimp. Perhaps it's because you have the later version? I have Gimp 2.4.2
