Soulless Colossus

Formerly the Blacksmith's pride
Crown carved to near perfection
Glistering eyes, Glistening crystals 

Ultimately Imperfect
It wanted nothing to do with it's creator
It's creator tried to reason with his proudest creation
and kept attempting
again
and again
Until he grew impatient and considered it a "failure"
Taking crudely made weapons and deconstructing his creation 
Leaving his passion and pride shattered.

But the Soulless would be the foundation for the Heartless taking inspiration from his previous creations crown
only to be crudely made from the frustration of the previous.

Then came the Sightless taking inspiration from great waterfalls with prismatic basalt for it's crown
but for this one even though crudely made, Blacksmith felt proud since the sightless questioned nothing for it had no mouth
and saw not for it had no eyes.

The blacksmith was left with an empty feeling after all the past failures a minimized sense of pride, only the thoughts that the sightless is crude, a product of impatience, but he let it be so the world he resides in is aware of his presence, as for the sightless it is now only a spectacle of what could have been.

holding still for years on end, to later move again

Hoping it'll hear the embrace of it's creator one day.
