Really wonderful! and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that song :3
Even before I clicked this Deviation I knew the title was a Sonata Arctica reference...

Thank you!
I liked very much Sonata when I was younger but stopped after. However since a friend suggested me that song, I'm again really fond of them (:

Très excellent!

It reminds me of a book by Gillian Bradshaw, 'The Wolf Within' - a romantic tale of a knight and werewolf set in early medieval Bretagne.
I guess you'd like it ;)

Isn't the right title "The wolf hunt"?

I don't know. I have a German translation that gives The Wof Within as the original title, but it is rather old. Maybe they changed it?

Just checked it on amazon. The Wolf Hunt it is!

I really don't know that book but it sounds really interesting!
I'll try to find it in some library. Thank you for the suggestion!

I'm not a big fan of the last albums of Sonata Arctica (I prefer older ones) but I must admit this song is awesome c:

I really like this!  The woodcut style is great and it really fits a sort of fairy-tale image; I've been teaching fairy tales in my German class for the last few days and I wish that I could more readily find art of this quality to go along with the stories!

Thank you for this wonderfully kind comment!!
It makes me want to illustrate more fairytales (which could be useful if I attempt to present my works to publishing house...)

Also, that owl in the trees is awesome!

I really like the way you've drawn the wolf. The fur look very natural, and the eye and mouth show that this is not a tame dog he's dealing with. The background is wonderful (as always in your drawings), I especially like looking at all the branches of the trees and how they criss-cross very naturally!
