About the show:
"The Real Fans of the Saga" is a fun look at four different passionate Star Wars fans and how their fandom effects not only family life but everyday life. This will be the 3rd project that Filmmakers Cris Macht… and Ian Vacek… produced together.

Eric was mentioned in a recent Star Wars blog post for his work with R2-KT (in memory of Katie Johnson).

"Eric Siebeneck approached me a few years back telling me how much R2-KT meant to him as a Star Wars fan. Like me, he’s a father of girls, so the story of Katie struck home for him. His offer to create KT designs for fundraiser patches was a wonderful surprise as he showed off his love for Star Wars and all the characters in it. I was so happy to finally see Yoda hanging with KT. His use of lines and colors and shading create vivid portraits that bring out a whole new dimension to the characters we love from that galaxy far, far away."

Please go to… and Rate the t-shirt designs in We Love Fine's Dark Side contest. My five entries are pictured above. If you like them, and would want to see them printed on a tee, rate each of them a 5.
This past month has been a lot of fun. I worked on two fan club patches. One for the 501st Legion and the following one for The Jedi Assembly.

Please note that this patch is a TJA member exclusive patch and was reviewed and approved by Lucasfilm Ltd.

Also, I received the latest issue of the Star Wars Insider (issue #140) in the mail yesterday. On page 89 you'll see my "King Rancor". Literally, he takes up the whole page. :)

Finally, I just finished my t-shirt designs that I'll be submitting to the latest We Love Fine contest. I realize that there are a lot of excellent entries, so I kinda feel like I'm buying a lottery ticket. However, when you love Star Wars as much as I do, it is a ticket you'll buy every time.

Patch is 4.5" - Send $10 via paypal to

All proceeds go to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital

If there was ever any doubt of the astonishing impact that George Lucas has had on pop culture, this book is proof positive of the passion and reverence that still resides in the hearts of fans worldwide. 'Save the Lars Homestead' is the unlikely and fascinating account of the mission to preserve a piece of film history that was abandoned a long time ago in that galaxy far, far away. - Mark Hamill

I'm very honored to have my piece titled "Spilled Blue Milk" be included in this book.

250 pages, hundreds never-before-seen photos from the project in Tunisia, a blurb on the backcover by Mark Hamill - aka Luke Skywalker himself - fantastic artwork by Dave Dorman and Eric Siebeneck, and a page with all 425 names of the people who donated to make it possible.

Thank the Maker and thank the Saviors of the Lars Homestead.

It was just announced on the Ohio Star Wars Collectors Club forums that I won the 2012 t-shirt contest. This is a special honor for a number of reasons. Here are my top 5:
1. It is OSWCC's 15th Anniversary this year.
2. There is another Star Wars Celebration (official con) this year (in Orlando this August)
3. This is the second time in the last three years that members have voted/selected my design as the winning design to be printed.
4. My family with be in Orlando for Disney's Star Wars weekends next month. Although this design won't be ready yet, I'll be sporting other SW designs (including a few of my own) all week long.
5. Cause it is freakin' Star Wars and it is just *@#$in' awesome!
And I went down to my old neighborhood
The faces have all changed, there's no one left to talk to
And the pool hall I loved as a kid is now a seven eleven

I went downtown to look for a job
I had no training, no experience to speak of
I looked at the holes in my jeans and turned and headed back
If by chance I someday make it,
then I'll die a peaceful soul.
But this journey may go on forever,
I won't rest until I know.
