Silk Ribbon Corset - Flat

Fabric: Silk backed with corset coutil
Boning: 1/4" flat spring steel bones
Bow: Silk cover fabric
Busk: 9" metal straight busk

This is a fabric-based Edwardian ribbon corset. Each of the "ribbons" is sewn from coutil and silk. The vertical boned panels (the pink parts) are two layers of coutil covered with silk. The busk is backed with a bone. The bow is hand-made.

This corset was made as a trade for a mannequin with another seamstress, so I am optimistic that I will have some good photos of her modeling it down the road. In the meantime, these two flat photos will have to do.
