Namir of the blinding light

This is a card illustration done for Spellweaver TCG, fun and painful to do this one. It's always challenging to tackle to many details and make it work somehow but it makes for a good learning experience.

love the pastell colors! somehow this feels less clichée-like than rest of most I-am-a-figther-and-swinging-my-really-heavy-and-unrealistically-big-sword-in-your-face-for-good-show-pictures that you get to see in the fantasy corner. I like the way the background seems to tell you a little more about him (Namir, is it?) while at the same time cleverly directing the light to set his armor sparkling. I guess you need a good pinch of humor for all the greatness and awesomeness and overall epicness that needs to flow into these cards? anyway: really good job ineed!

I think your hard work paid off because this looks really awesome! There is so many details to look at, like I could look at this all day still now get them all. I, specifically, love the hammer, nice work!
