...certain ways that two letters can be arranged to flow nicely into eachother. Take the letters 'd' and 'a': in lower case, they share a certain symmetry, that makes for a pleasing composition.
Some deviants noticed this. Seven20 noticed, and capitalized on the idea. He put together some outstanding logos. Some abstracted beyond the original letters, some with the letters still intact. I even pegged his version 4 logo as the winner. It is professionally simple, and eye-catching. Beautifully composed.
I also noted the symmetries involved in the letters, and used them. In response to the claim that I did nothing more than alter s20's logo's: we were both thinking on the same wavelength for this competition. My second logo began as an alteration to my first. My first logo was pulled directly out of my sketchbook.
