Misrepresentation Kills

Did you know that the majority of "wolfdogs" aren't actually wolfdogs at all?

People trying to pass off their dogs as wolfdogs is all too common. Labeling your husky mix as a wolfdog can cost the dog its life, and it gives people the wrong impressions on what a wolfdog is actually like, leading to irresponsible ownership of actual wolfdogs.

Before even thinking of owning a wolfdog, you should already have tons of experience with dogs. Do tons of research. Interact with wolfdogs. Talk to wolfdog owners. Make sure you have the time and money to take care of one. And be aware of misrepresentation. Don't become part of the problem. Learn what to look for. Phenotyping is very important! Here are examples of actual wolfdogs: high content, mid content, low content. Compare those to "wolfy"-looking domestic dogs. Huge difference.
