Club Elsewhile. Meaning that there is always an alternate timeline in space. The stage design was inspired by Club Afterlife in Mass Effect 2, I can spend half an hour there, just listening to the music (Callista - Club Afterlife).

Rendered with Mental Ray, post process on Photoshop & After Effects.

this is in-friking-credible! it is so well made that i can picture this being in the game in some other area of of the club (VIP maybe? ME4 maybe?) go to youtube and put the afterlife song then go back to this image and imagine you walking by with your team behind you. imagine the other people sitting and walking around, imagine the asari dancing on the 2nd level. then you have EDI on your ear telling you that the "Tempest" (your ship) is docked outside for your return.

Another excuse for staying up all night. It would be interesting of the luminance changes color, so peaceful and beautiful and always great concept design. You should do the next Tron if ever it comes to be.

Whoa. Wicked! I wish I could do designs like this. I have a good imagination, but drawing/rendering is not my forte. :P
I just saw your work today for the first time; very impressed.

excellent work! I love this, and I can read "Parov Stelar - Baska Brother", very nice choice! Future jazz in the atmosphere!

Thanks, wow somebody noticed that!! Congrats! Yeah some nice future swing in da house (=. I suppose that song would belong to some "ancient greatest hits of the planet world" or something similar :D

yeah, a greatest hits could be possible...
I think about your scene like a fusion between the atmosphere of the roaring twenties, the jazz age and an hypothetical space colonization era.. :) Like a steampunk concept but here we have a combination of sci-fi elements and swing era instead of using victorian age..fantastic. So Parov Stelar and other artists like Thievery Corporation could be exactly the music of that time :) I don't know if there is already a sci-fi literary sub-genre which sets the story in this kind of anachronistic situation but I'm starting to write something about it..
