She has a very realistic body structure but it also comes across looking soft and natural. The figure also sits in the composition very well, she feels like she really belongs in there. I like how her torso overlaps her back, it gives the pose depth and comes across looking realistic. Clearly you've studied your anatomy a little bit.

Her hunched shoulders, tilted back head, and slightly raised haunches give her an overall curious and playful expression, well done in not only being expressive in her face but importantly the gesture as well.

Like I said, the line art is very clean. You've done well with the coloring and shading. She feels a little bit saturated, but not overly so. I can read where the light hits the figure, and the colors feel very rich, warm and bright.

Don't be afraid to hit some darker shades in places where there needs to be a shadow. I can see where you are doing it, like the back of her neck, under her tail, and where the limbs crease inwards, but that red seems a little bit too warm of a color for the job. Maybe a bronze or a darker shade or red orange, would look nicer, and then I would save those warm rich reds for reflected light in the body.

If there were deeper blues in the sky, maybe the bottom of the picture, I think it would really make those oranges in Scootaloo pop out. Be careful with those bright shines in her hair where you've gone all the way to white, they really stand out, I would try toning them back down to bright pinks.

But that's all a matter of coloring style, and there are many many different ways of doing it. There is nothing the matter with the way you've worked yours and I can't tell you exactly how to do it because there are a lot of ways you can do it and still have it look right. I honestly couldn't have pulled of that pose as well as you did.

I think it's a very nice piece, and it's well executed. I like the soft shaded style, as well as the detailed features, and I'm glad Scootaloo's getting some love.
