So recent months have been rather intense for me, and I haven't had much time to draw anything substantial and upload it to DA. This summer I handed in my MA thesis and graduated (with flying colours, I might add!), in addition to handling several other non-art related projects. That means now I can celebrate worry about important decisions like where to live, what job to apply for, and the general meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything I'm not freaking out you're freaking out D: In the midst of all that I haven't been drawing much, though I am currently working on various story projects, including two one-shot comics planned for the
...I suppose it's a bit late for New Year reflections and all that jazz, isn't it? Well, I've been busy :shrug:
For me, 2016 was a very intense year- mostly filled with work for my master's degree, but also plenty of other projects (learning Danish, writing for an animation company, editing an art book...among other things!). What I haven't really done an awful lot, however, is draw, and I have to admit that makes me a little sad. I'm not one to get serious about new years resolutions, but I would like to try to be a little more artistic in 2017!
What about you guys? Any plans or hopes or resolutions for the new year?
It would appear I have fallen into the habit of updating my journals only once a year. Which is probably of little relevance to humanity as a whole, but combined with the fact that I've barely uploaded anything all year, it makes me feel a little bad. Especially since I do check DA almost every day, I just don't get around to drawing something worth the sharing =P
