"If you think it's going to rain, it will."

This is a poster extracted from the GIF "Rain" I made. I was using TeamViewer with my personal Beta Tester and he found this camera angle which I liked a lot, so I rendered a poster. All thanks to him. It's all yours mate :D

Actually, now that I think about it, this was the kind of things I originally wanted to make when I started working on what became the GIF, and I'm really happy with it, so much that I decided to change my old avatar.. Well, nothing else to say, hope ya like it :)

Looks good! A little tip, if you would like, is that you can zoom in with the camera to make it a little more cinematic looking and smooth. That's something that has really helped me out. :D

Sorry, forgot to say how. :P When you have your camera selected, go to the window as if you were moving it and scroll your mouse wheel. Make sure you click the window like you were really moving it, then you should be able to zoom with the wheel. You can zoom in and out, whatever your preference is. Hope I was helpful!

Well I don't like working with Field Of View a lot, since it streches the peripherals of the image (and that usually bothers me, I just can't work if the FOV is different than the default), it's helpful when in first person perspective, but not in these cases, just moving the camera would be better.
Anyway I like to leave space to the background, since I tend to give a specific meaning to the environment, then zooming in could have gave the model a "too big" impression.

Thank you anyway, I'll keep that in mind. It may help in the future :D

No, I totally understand. It's your style, and that's what sets you apart from others. I like it and I'm sure a lot of others like it, what I was trying to say is that it doesn't hurt to experiment with things sometimes.

Oh and I meant after you have set up the shot to zoom in or out. I know from experience that it is very difficult to work with when in a zoomed FOV.

You're welcome! Hope to see more cool stuff! :)

I think I understood what you mean with the zooming in/out with FOV, and yes, if it's what I'm thinking it gives a very nice 3D effect. In fact, I've started working on something where I'm trying a little trick by using FOV with DOF without having to edit the video using other software (which I don't have). If I manage to get the right effect I want, it should be quite a cool one :)
I haven't worked on it in the last days, I'm playing too much LoL D:
It all depends on the difficulty of something. Usually if it's quite hard I tend to work less frequently on it. I'm quite lazy, but sometimes I get over the lazyness. I still have a chance ahahahahah

Thank you :)
I think I understood how Ambient Occlusion actually works, but I may have used a bit too much Depth of Field in this one.
I didn't notice before, but the body seems too blurred to me. I don't know if I'll render it again just because of that though lol
