[SFM] Lighting Test by Shutdp [SFM] Lighting Test by Shutdp
Just a test where I tried a more realistic looking (sort of) lighting technique that also tries to simulate subsurface scattering in SFM. Then I compared it to the more common three-point lighting because why not (SSS is on the left, while 3-P is on the right).
Honestly I think it looks really good, although it's not very efficient, since I used 7 shadowed lights for it, leaving only one left to eventually light up the environment (non-shadowed are still an option ofc)

Decided to post it since it's been a while I haven't uploaded anything on here. Hopefully I'll come up with an idea of some sort soon (I probably won't but whatever)

The left eyes look very good and more realistic. The three point lighting looks closer to the default model eyes but the extra light reflection in the middle of Dash's eye is very distracting and draws attention to itself, I feel. The focus of your eyes gravitates to that extra light source, rather than her whole face.
