Hello! Life has improved quite a bit since I've last posted a journal entry. I'm working on my BA in history, almost finished with it. I no longer work in retail!! I type title reports and do tax searches for a title and abstract company. It's awesome. I am not sure why my "Scary Mary" deviant art disappeared. I really liked it. o.O The most recent doodle i've completed is over a year old. You can see it below. I have a tablet laptop and couldn't wait to test it out. Unfortunately I never find the desire to sit and draw these days. BUT I do like to check in once and a while and see all of the stuff you guys have been up to! Keep it up.

Ahh, it's been a very long time. I've not quite improved with photoshop, but then again, I haven't drawn or done digital art seriously in years. A lot has happened the past decade and then some. HS Graduation, College, Divorce, finishing said college, two moves cross country...and still low wage customer service oriented jobs. I'm still inspired by historical costume and events, but I seldom have the desire to sit down and draw. I never thought i'd say that I wish I had taken real art classes in school. I think i'd feel better about my own art and I would not be so limited.

Awesome. And I have 12k pageviews. I remember back then, ten years ago.. I used to do a lot of Disney fanart. And most work was inked and scanned in, not outlined by the pen tool in Photoshop..sometimes I outlined it with the brush by hand on mouse! I also had photographs I submitted of my creepy Living Dead Dolls. I actually had comments and favorites back then. I suppose fanart is more favored over original art if you aren't super awesome at anime.
