Night Light Headcanons

so um i really really really really really really really really really REALly like httyd. and atm the hyperfixation just got reawakened when i was watching this series of reviews for the nine realms (the show is shit, imo, btw. the reviews are good tho lolol):

and i was like. the entire concept of the night lights is kinda dumb. and they look really incesty, especially in tnr. so since there are multiple light furys in the hidden world (theyre there, i promise) i think that the night/light fury species have one of two colours, those being black and white. all babies start out looking like night lights. the black gene was killed off until toothless was the last one left. because he's the king of dragons and whatever, i think he has really dominant genes, thus being able to bring back the night gene.

these are just my headcanons btw! im not trying to claim canon or anything, i just feel like this works better in the universe. plus all night/light furys look like kittens as babies now, so its a win win .

also queen dart ^^^^ love her shes my fav
