Steven Universe: Pony Meet-up

Okay so, Connie's really likes in-depth plot lines and stuff and honestly given Open Book she seems like she'd be the kind to write fanfiction. Ronaldo is Ronaldo and fits the concept a lot of people have for bronies. And Steven just likes things.
So here's these three having meetups and talking Royal politics in Equestria. Steven spends 90% of it being more focused on Cadence and Shining Armor's wedding because he likes that sort of thing.
Drawn in part because I've seen a lot of snarking back and forth between these fanbases and thought it would be cute to do something with them playing nicely together.
Added sad headcanon: Steven likes Cadence because she’s pink, her symbol is a crystal heart, and her whole thing is about love. She reminds him of his mom.
Another added sad bit: patchworkpoltergeist​ on tumblr pointed out that both Cadence and Shining Armor’s magical thing is shields. I didn’t even think of that but it’s perfect.

For those curious about what Ronaldo and Connie are saying:
Ronaldo: The sun empire is a totalitarian regime. That's all there is to it. With one fell swoop Celestia could, at any given moment, not raise the sun or  prevent it from setting. That alone is too much power for a single ruler. 

Connie: I disagree. I find that the current system with dual ruler-ship of Luna raising the moon makes for a perfect checks and balances system. 

Ronaldo: Ah but what about during Luna's exile. Perhaps Celestia became accustomed to her taste of full power. 

Connie: If that were, in fact, the case then why would she seek out Twilight Sparkle for a student? Clearly she did so with the goal of making her an alicorn in mind. What would be the point in making her own competition? 

Ronaldo: Because if she made her competition what is it today then she knows all of their tricks. Celestia could -easily- overthrow Twilight if necessary and her unwavering loyalty makes her an exceptional lackey. 

Connie: Hm...point taken, though I still think Luna is a prime contender for throne in that scenario. She could easily drive Celestia insane with dream powers or prevent the sun from rising. Not to mention we've seen her fight and she seems to hold her own very well.
