people are generally good, if you mean fellow students then they can start out absolutely awful but by year 10/11 they mature and actually become relatively decent. i never had much success with adults personally, but they're pretty hit and miss; in either case you can always find friends pretty much. school depends highly on which one you go to, area wise, and what kind of people you hang out with? id say its mostly decent, its definitely much easier than the eastern european school system. food is GREAT, like some of it is awful and i wouldnt get school food if someone paid me to do it, but if you just buy your own from like, asda or something, you're sorted. the weather sucks, politics suck, money is kinda hard to come by, but honestly i would rather be here than back in belarus so i consider it a win. its definitely really good, and if it seems like it sucks in secondary school (i hated school, it wasnt great at all), then it does get better in college and uni !!
i hope this helps? lmk if u wanna know anything else !!

Well, by the politics and money Poland is much worse, most of the polish ppl lost 3/4 of their money for taxes, which gives like 100-200$ per month (even less and if u have a good job here, ofc)
Also can't have too many choices here about job. If someone want to be an artist like me, he will probably die here in Poland. Can't make too much money by that and random stuff (like games, clothes etc) from all other countries is soooo damn expensive for us
About the ppl here, they are soooooo intolerant, which made my life so bad that I've got a big depression and I don't want to live here anymore. Just if someone even have a colorful hair or wears only black clothes, everyone gonna blame that person for it, laugh and other stuff, that's painful.
So this is why I asked about ppl in England
Food is probably that only one thing that I'm gonna miss so bad </3 can't live without polish pierogi, the best food
About the education, Poland is also the worst, too much of useless subjects, too much study, ten or even more of exams per day. I have to like be in school here from 7 am to 6 pm, so I don't have time even for fuckin breath
In England I will go to College, second class (I don't know if i've said right secondary school=college, probably not, my bad lmao) lol idk what to say more, I just need a better life somewhere
But thank you anyway for everything <3

XD

Mój bf napisał:
"

W przypadku szkoły, to podobno rodzice posyłają mnie do konkretnego College'u, gdzie będę już zaczynać od drugiej klasy, czyli w sumie tak, jak też tutaj w Polsce. Generalnie linka do tego College'u nie będę potrzebować, co tutaj mi twój chłopak oferuje, bo skoro już mam jakiś konkretny, no to ten, no, tak. I w ogóle fajnie, że ktoś też poszedł na informatykę, szanuję. ;_;

The people here are semi-normal,  where I live ( west London) most of the people are really chavvy and not nice to be around but if you move to a nice area I doubt you'd have to worry about that <3, the food is nice!!! you can buy anything really. I can't really say nice things about London because there are so many ups and downs! i hope  i could answer your questions ;v; and I'm sorry if i wasn't so clear

Are those ppl mostly tolerant to foreigners (polish poopoohead like me lmao)?
Or about the food, is there something really nice that I should try anywhere? I've heard from my friends about the food that is not that nice like where I live now, I would like to know what should I try or not, just to know the truth about that, I guess it's nice XD
Also I need infos about schools in England (secondary school basically), u know, lesson hours, what are the basic subjects in schools like that, for how long are school breaks and anything that's important
idk
I feel so scared bc I have no friends in England ;_:

Ahh sure thing!!
People wise depending on where abouts you are, depends how the people are. I live in a place called Southend on sea which is right on the beach, people there are actually really friendly most of the time, they're pretty accepting and happy go help out. Whereas in london (capital, hour or so away) people typically keep to themselves. Honestly it depends on situation and stuff like it does everywhere, but you'll find away from the capital people are a lot more laid back.

School wise, you have nursery from age 2 to 4, infant school from 4 till 6 or 7 and junior school from 7 up to 10 or 11 :) then you go up to senior school which is until 16 years of age, then college or 6th form for 2 or 3 years depending on the qualification. You can leave education at 18 :')
but the schools are pretty laid back and all the teachers ive ever had are extremely friendly/laid back and always help out where they can. College is laid back as hell and as long as youre willing to get the work done then its all good :')

Food varies here really! Where i live you can find pretty much anything. I mean everything from Chinese/oriental to fast food like McDonalds and stuff. Depending on where you look its easy to find something for pretty much anyone. Id probably suggest little cafes if you wanna try english food like full english fry ups and stuff. My favourite home cooked/pub food is probably a cottage pie or a roast dinner. Theyre pretty traditional so id suggest that :') honestly the food here is so varied though, youll be absolutely spoilt for choice :')

In england, the good things id suggest definitley seeing are places like woodlands and parks, theres plenty wherever you go and most of them are pretty lovely, especially in summer :') where i live we have the beach and a really long pier which are amazing in summer, as well as an amusement park right on the beach which is fun to visit sometimes. Theres something for everyone, really ^_^ theres places like comicon which are held 2 times a year (suggest going) people cosplay anf  the atmosphere is amazing!

If you need more stuff just ask ^_^ <3
Im hoping this helps a little!!! If you ever need a friend in England let me know and id be so happy to be like a guide and a friend at the same time :')

People are hit and miss like most places in the world. There are some lovely people and then there are people you should avoid. I'd like to think that my generation are quite welcoming and understanding. The response you'd get from people depends on the area of the UK you'll be moving to. It all varies.

Secondary School (Highschool) is five days a week. Normally 8:45-3:30pm. The Highschool I went to had both core and additional subjects for GCSEs. Core subjects (mandatory): Maths, English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Core Ethics, Physical Education. However, they are just the main ones. You're also able to take (depending on your year group) other subjects like Geography, History, Languages, Drama, Music, Food Tech, Art & Design, Fine Art, Resistant Materials, Textiles, Graphics, etc..

All schools will have Student Support and will be able to help you adjust. I'm sure they will also offer additional support for your English if you would like it. With school breaks you normally have a week off between each school term, Easter Holiday, a month of holiday for the summer and Christmas holiday.

As a Foodie.. a big LOVER of all food. I'd like to say the food is quite nice. But, then again I was born in the UK and am used to it. There are all sorts of different food places from all different countries and traditions. I'm sure you'd be able to find food in supermarkets, etc.. that you'd enjoy! ♥

Well...

London/Manchester/Bolton (the lower end of the UK - the rural area)
The food isn't 'different'
the weather is permanently shit
75% of the population is rude AF
the weather is crap (I must mention that twice)

....
Where I live (Lake district - middle west of England not too far from scotland)
Lovely area, open landscape, beautiful views
the old people are so sweet c:
im sweet c: ; )
im joking im an ass

but no, in general I don't suggest coming to the UK
its shit in my opinion
that's from someone who's lived here all my life // 17 years and a month

In the UK there's "England" "Wales" "Scotland" "Northern Ireland" (Republic of Ireland is their own place)
North England and Scotland are the preferred places to go, if you're looking for work etc, then ye' wanna look down south.

Best thing about the UK??
Free schooling and college education. - Although I failed school bc im an ass, but im doing really well and making up for it in college.

Well trust mee
Poland is more shitty than England, like, every countries are better than mine country. I feel so happy that I can move out finally from there and get a normal, school, job or smth (bc in Poland u can only get a shit and no money for that, education is also shit, everything here is bad expect food)
When I'm gonna finish College (I will go to 2nd class as I know) in England, I will probably go to another place, other country, idk. I'm just hoping ppl there will be less intolerant ;-;
But okay, thank you for everything :DDDDD
