Hello all!!! I know it has been a rough few weeks for many and for those directly affected by the coronavirus it is a good time as any to stay home and do art, watch art, and spend time with loved ones. I myself cannot say I don't have time to do the journals so here I am. I know the virus talk is everywhere so will move on to congratulate the wonderful 8000 members we now have on their contributions!!!! It is the lovely members that keep me motivated to continue this wonderful group and I am glad so many watch and contribute here.



Color lifts spirits and helps in many ways so know that every piece of colorful art can make someone's day brighter including your own. And with that I will be a little stricter on the rules requirements due to many submissions that are very borderline in the colorful(70% non white/black + 3+ multiple DIFFERENT colors), complete(no sketches or WIPs), and creative(IE your work not someone else's) requirements. I am not being mean or discriminatory in saying this and these are the very simple rules. I have noticed far too many black and white(which I do allow sometimes for lineart for people to color etc) and an increased number of single colored backgrounds with <70% of picture with a character that has less than enough color themselves. The 3+ color rule is colors that are NOT black, white, or flesh tone. ROYGBIV from the visual light spectrum. Fun!!! Colorful!!!



I appreciate any and all art. It is hard for me to reject any but we are a color group. There are many many groups where other less colorful stuff is well suited and if curious I can direct you to one of them. Now on to more fun  stuff like the Artists of the Month:

Cheers to all for a colorful journey and though it took me 7 hours to find such lovely works(deciding which to add being the hard part.....so many are out there...LOVE it) I found my favorites for now. Some are symbolic, some are fun, and some are fancy. Let us love what we do and be who we are in these crazy times.
