Lost Infernal Characters by ShonnaWhite Lost Infernal Characters by ShonnaWhite

Lost Infernal Banner by ShonnaWhite

Having brushed her tragic past behind a twisted sense of humor, Lieutenant Estellia Highlander lives to be the best. When a god-like vampire returns fifty years after nearly destroying the Alley, the military division she works for orders Estellia to assassinate him. Their hopes to prevent another war lies within the powerful mutation she carries that makes her more like the target she hunts than to humans. Her mission takes her deep into vampire society where she discovers that something far more sinister than the Paragon vampire Michael Bayne is emerging. If she and Michael cannot work together to defeat the rising darkness, humanity could be lost.

Thank you! It's actually a lot easier to get realism with older people, with wrinkles and beards and all. More details after all. :D

Heheh, I've been there. I'm finally kicking myself out of the repetetive rewrites phase. I get mocked all the time, but then again, this is the first time I've actually been serious about going somewhere with it.

And thank you. :D

Oh, I'll be posting it everywhere anytime I move forward with something on it. And then there will be squeeing.

I was never able to get into Anita Blake, but the author has been doing this for so long there's got to be something fabulous about it.

Oh ok then good!! and yes Anita Blake is wonderful but lately the author is doing a lot of sexual content... It's like non-stop. Of course it's alright with some but with the amount she's puts in her books it's nothing but sex scenes in there it feels... But I can't help but continue to love her books! Especially her main Vampire Jean-Claude! :D

I was reading some of her fae books, and liked the first two, wasn't so sure about the third and by the forth I was over it. I found the sexual content overwhelming, and I'm by no means a prude. Even in my book, there is a definately sexual tension there, but I think that's important in the genre. It's what a lot of people love about it, the power and the sex, and then to some the evil.
I think she focusses on it too much, and really should focus more on her story. Either that or actually just switch over to romance novels! Still, as I said, she does really well and has a good following so, unforunately kinda like Twilight, you have to give her credit for that. She's found a market for her work and is succeeding fabulously in it! Good on her.
I don't know too much about the Anite Blake series, but maybe one day I'll have to read one or two of them. :D

Interesting summary for the book. Lol, it took me a couple seconds to realize the hand on the belt belongs to the man wearing the belt, not the woman beside him. Hmm, with the shading, it's a little hard to tell where one leather jacket ends and another begins. The two men on the left seem more life-like than the other three due to the shading around their faces.

I hope everything goes well for your publishing. b^_^d

Yeah, it's a lot of black on black and I work on a high def monitor, once I'm on my work monitor, it's much darker!

The General drove me nuts, it was the facial hair that made him really look that realistic! Without it, he looked about the same :(

It's amazing...I love it, but no matter how many close ups and full shots I look at, Michael's hair just looks wonky to me...
Maybe it's just me..
Well... ShadowCrafter's does too now that I look closer..
I don't know...

Heheh, no problem! can you place what it is? I know the edges need work. I think when I did the clean up I deleted a couple layers I shouldn't have. The outter edges are WAY too hard. I'm actually working on Michael's right now.

It's something about the hair, Probably just the edges,
If it persists after you re-work it I'll say something again.

I'm gonna have to say I like the way you use sfumato on faces that flush out of completely black background. It is interesting contrast having soft lines (or rather no lines at all) on the faces. makes a very startling effect, considering that everything else is sharp. This really is so different.

*runs away and looks up sfumato* So THAT's what that's called!
:D Thanks! I really wanted to give these ones a unique, distinctive style and keep it slightly surreal as well.
