Rally To Restore Sanity

As a moderate American sick to the teeth of hyperbole and extremism running rampant in this grand but ecumenically brain-damaged country, I couldn't be happier with the coming of Jon Stewart's "Rally to Restore Sanity", taking place October 30, 2010 in Washington, DC.

While my hopes for the rally's success are high, my physical presence there is highly doubtful. Nonetheless, I offer this as a token of long-distance contribution, just so I can say I played a part...however small, insignificant and ultimately ignored (like my opinion).

Print it and use it as a sign, distribute among your friends and family, or hell, put it on a T-shirt and wear it at the rally itself, if you're lucky enough to be going.

Enjoy, friends, and [bleep] irrationality right in its [bleep] [bleep] [bleep] face! (But remember, be gentle!)

thanks for bleeping out bad words.
It was entertaining, though the congestion in the metro afterwards was annoying.

If you'll pardon my asking in vanity, did you see anyone carrying the poster?
Two.
One of them was dressed up like a grim reaper though....
and the other was there for the OTHER rally.

Well, at least I infiltrated in some fashion. Any photos?
No. Not a fan of camera's. Next time they do that try showing up though, other than the suffocating number of people, it's kind of fun.
Just stay away from the free hug guy. He tries to steal your wallet.

As a fellow moderate American, I thank you very much for making a wonderful piece of art that pays tribute to this rally. I wish I could've gone.

I wonder what the baseline is for irrationality and uncommon sense in politics.

Wow, I LOVE this. Would it be okay for me to get this printed as a small flyer/poster for my room?

You made this yourself? That is truly incredible, i,m not just impressed, i think my balls just hit the walls.
This is a fucking awesome poster - I want to put a wall-sized one in my house!!!

This is the most gorgeous and glorious poster I have ever seen. I am printing up copies of this as glossy fliers and spreading the lover all around town.

Rather than reinvent the wheel, has anyone tried to get a group quote on shirts like this? Because I would totally go in on a deal like that!

By the way, I wanted to share a derivative I made of your work. I have now ordered glossy poster prints of your work with some Rally4Sanity ride-share information on it.

[Here] is how I used your work.

I wish I could go but I have college and no money. I'm sure they will talk about it on the show.

This poster is epic! The end tagline really helps to strike the balance between the goofy and the serious- which is what Jon Stewart does best. I will also be there in spirit, but unfortunately not in person.

I'd love to be in DC for this, but I'm not risking my neck going across the unfriendly border between Canada and the U.S. for two days. If and when the USINS can stop treating people like shit, and I can scrape up the cash for a hostel room, a passport and U.S. visa, and a round trip bus ticket, then I'll consider coming. In the meantime, my best wishes are with you and the American people on doing this march-I truly want to be in this march, not that Million Man Bullshit March.

Wow. We really are dicks in this country.
