Oops! Wine Glass Splash

Wine glass studio splash. I dropped an ice cube into a glass full of cranberry juice. For those that don't know me I don't drink but even still I wouldn't waste real wine. I tilted the glass in post. I don't know if it adds or takes away from the shot but this way it doesn't look like a glass is just sitting there. The light on the one side is a bit harsh so I need to make some adjustments. Maybe I will try lighting from below and behind or perhaps above. This was my first attempt.

Nice Shot! I agree with what you said. Try lighting the glass from the bottom or behind. I find lighting from behind works very well with glass.

Not bad. I like the tilted angle as it looks like a glass falling. I like how you captured the little droplets in the air.

The cranberry juice seems a little transparent to be considered red wine...maybe if you make it more of a solid color by adding something opaque - a little bit of milk? (ewww...milk & cranberries really don't mix for taste though if you're planning to drink it afterwards)

Thanks. Eww! Milk and juice!! Just consider it a cheap wine. :P
