Three Horned Sorcery by shiverz Three Horned Sorcery by shiverz
Q: What happens when you mix paleao with sorcery?

A: A grumpy old triceratops who does nothing but conjure, in hopes of destroying his carnivore adversaries, of 'course!

I REALLY enjoyed this piece, two of my favourite subjects rolled into one piece ^_^

Created in watercolour paint and pencil crayon.

A anthro Triceratops as the sorcery, really awesome.

I think I like it.

That is awesome. I actually drew up an old old idea for a Triceratops mage, but yours clearly rocks. :D

Aside from the horns being a bit off-perspective, it's pretty good. Of course, maybe it's just that one horn developed oddly after an injury earlier in life. It's impressive work, Shiverz.

Hmm, perhaps this universe will come to know kaijusaurs as well. They do fit the possible "ultimate living weapon" for universes that lack a bishonen line and antitank weapons.

Thankyou very much, appreciate the back story you've just added there! Maybe I'll create a follow up picture as to how it did become crooked.

Kajisaurus? Please explain...

You're welcome.

Kaijusaur is a Portmanteau of "kaiju" and "dinosaur," a term applied to a specific group of Gojira-esque anthrodinosaurs (and other anthropomorphic prehistoric reptiles) from my works. (I didn't come up with the term, either, someone described Greatfang as one back in early '07, quite a while before there were seventeen of us knocking around.) Extant types range from rexes and triceratops to pterosaurs, marine reptiles, and a host of other species. Generally, they're about 12'-17' or so in height...but making them larger isn't too much of a problem if you have either advanced nanotechnology and associated space/matter manipulation or gobs of magic.

Awesome idea :highfive:

Good job on the lighting, and the out of focus background. The small details of the markings on the horns are a nice touch as well...
Speaking of which, one of the horns might be bit out of position (his right one)

With his hunched over form and the robe he reminds me a bit of the Tonberries from Final Fantasy

Thankyou ^_^

I really wasn't sure what to do with the background until I got the stoned walls involved, not my area of expertise, hence the blur XD I can see what you mean with the horn slanting a little, I suppose my excuse could be the weight of his horns might be sagging it down further?

I have never seen a Tonberry before and they are SO CUTE. Are they available as pets? :D

[link] here's a picture of a tonberry.
they're not pets, they are an enemy in game... they have loads of hitpoints and slowly waddle up to a player character and stab them with their knife...if it hits it's either a critical hit or instant death for that character. they sometimes cast some spell from their lantern too (forget the name of the spell and what effect, it's been a while)
