Something is wrong very wrong. Majestic creatures that were once tamed by man are now going savage! They turn their fangs upon their loved ones: their riders. No one knows what causes it either, and reports have been coming in by the tens of hundreds of Shi’vali attacking their partners and they seem to be mainly Hinshus and Ko’kumais. Oddly enough ferals are one of the few excluded from the madness taking over the others. The royal family are at their limit with options are starting to consider a desperate option: eliminating all ill Shi’vali. Many are rebelling against this idea, refusing to get rid of their beloved companions, and are taking desperate measures to try and prevent future damage.

This event has 3 parts, you may enter ONCE per part.

LITERATURE: Minimum word count of 1,200

DRAWINGS: Lined or painted, colored, shaded, with simple background.

You must include a Rider and a Shi'vali (can be your own, a Royal, or someone else's) Up to three Shi'vali.

Your Shi'vali does NOT have to have their Ceremony of Riderhood to participate!

Every entry will receive +1 EP for being art for an event, INCLUDING the EP bonuses for Hunting/Fishing/Traversing!

Part One:

Your Hinshus and Ko’komai have started act odd, dangerous even! What is your rider’s reaction when their Shi’vali have become hostile? Do they run or try to break whatever has taken over their companions? Are their Shi’vali trying to resist or have they forgotten completely the person who once took care of them?

Part Two:

Reports have flooded the Khan’s administration of Shi’vali going insane and no one knows why. There has even been rumors that one of the Royal members is in critical condition after being attacked by their beloved Shi’vali. Due to this the Royal Court is now demanding that everyone chain and cage their affected Shi’vali and separate them from the others. How do your riders and Shi’vali react to this? Do they choose to obey the Khan’s orders or do they take their own approach?

Part Three:

The Khan has declared a state of emergency as several deaths have been reported, included that of a royal servant. All affected Shi’vali are to be reported to the Imperial Court and submitted for elimination as they fear it is a disease. However, there’s rumors that on the island of Xia the Shi’vali there aren’t going savage. How could this be? With your healthy Shi’vali, find a way to get to the island of Xia and protect your Shi’vali before it’s too late!

EVERYONE who enters will have their entry rolled for Level 2 Traversing (regardless of Shi'vali Level), but only one person will win the rewards listed below:
