DOTW: TreasureSheranee recalled her early days as a pup more often now that she had her small Squeak to take care of. Ever since she found that cold, almost dead pup, she has been constantly trying to find some kind of information on how to be a good guardian and mother. Her early days of puppyhood were a blur. She could remember her brawls, how the other pups avoided her when she was in her fight-mood, her mother’s training to contain her brutal side that eventually led to making Shera question herself more than trusting her own judgement. Today Shera could see that her mother failed to give her a steady upbringing, finding pleasure in the promise of gaining eternal fame through her daughter rather than finding it for herself by using her talent or – if the need was big enough for it - faking it. No, her mother was not someone Shera wanted to become. She didn’t want to make the same mistakes with her little pup she was guarding and taking care of that her mother made with her. Mis
DOTW: Death and the Maiden
The frog squealed pitifully as the weight on its back pressed down again. This had been going on for most of the late morning. For a while, the frog considered itself lucky, as it had originally prepared itself to be eaten, but, as time dragged on, death began to become more favorable to this. One hind leg was pinned under a paw while another paw pressed down slowly, just enough to push all the air out of the amphibian to a point where bright spots of color would burst before its bulging eyes. Then, the pressure would be gone, and, before, the frog had frantically tried to escape, but it was growing tired. Its leg had gone numb, and it was finding it harder to catch its breath. All-in-all, it was not having the best day of its life.
Ghislaine was bored; boredom made her grumpy. The frog trapped beneath her paw was supposed to be lunch, but she wasn’t hungry. She was growing tired of frogs. Tired of the routine of wake up, eat, wander, eat, sleep, repeat.
DOTW: Times are changing
RiChu had some things she wanted to say to Crow. Most of those things were related to Barbosa, and more precisely, they were related to how Crow was handling her. Seeing the male constantly hovering around Barbosa as if she was a mindless pup was not healthy for either of them. RiChu wanted her to have some freedom when it came who she made friends with and more importantly, teach Barbosa to come to her and Crow whenever she had a problem.
-Crow,maybe you could… ease up a little with your hawk eyes?-she said, looking up at the male in hope of catching his attention.
-Bara needs to have some freedom in her life. She needs to learn how to take care of herself on her own as well when she needs to come to us...IF she wants to come and ask for advice. You can't follow her around and keep an eye on her… you know?
She wagged her tail a little, feeling how she grew nervous. Speaking up was not her strongest side and trying to tell Crow h
Dotw: Miss Fluff and the Grr-giant
The male felt annoyed, tired, thirsty, hungry and almost cursing the wolf in front of him, he could not believe he had to be helped by a pack full of weirdos and weaklings, though that also made him one too, even lower than that as he had to ask for their help, what was all the training he had gone through about? for what? And what was that strange creature who had attacked him so suddenly? What was all this!? Some kind of punishment!? What did he do to the world rather than existing!? He let out a sigh as his aching body was laying down under a comfy warm bedding, he just wanted to know why...Why he could not be happy?...
His tired eyes rolled over to the she-wolf who was now in charge looking after him, she seemed so small and fluffy, he was sure he could grab her by the scruff and lift her with no problem, he growled, at this point she was his only hope, though he did not know what was worth living in such moments.
