Walk Tall Cross Stitch Bag Tag (FFXV)

I wanted to create something memorable that would resonate with me for the Words of Wisdom contest hosted by stitchingpirates 
Since I just fell in love with Final Fantasy XV (isn't is obvious from my other recent stitching projects?), I wanted to made use of a quote from that game.

I decided to make another bag tag using my scrap black aida, which incidentally is the royal color of the Lucian royal family in the game, so the quote had to be short enough to fit. I chose the words "Walk Tall" because that is the most important quote for me in the game that would easily apply in real life as well. The Japanese script below is just the Japanese version of the same quote. /sob the feels....

The flowers that adorn the borders are my own take of the game's sylleblossoms (those flowers are important in that game too), which looks like a blue lavender and iris cross. I used 4 shades of blue dmc for the petals and 2 shades of green for the leaves.
The words have a mix of white dmc and my choice of any of my 3 extra strands of metallic threads (dark gold, light gold and copper).

The planning stage of this took time because I had to wrestle with the backstitch layout on my PC program with a mouse that isn't moving well. I was able to finish the English text but for the Japanese script I just decided to go the old school way of using an engineering graphing paper and writing it in by pencil. This should have been finished earlier but I was so busy. At least I made it in time for the contest with a month to spare.
