hi there! well, the fox is cute, seems to be smiling (lol) and you seems to have had a hard work with the fur. the eyes got a nice effect with the brightness.
but the background seems to me lacking life... maybe you could have used stronger colors. the same to the wood. what´s the point for this? the fur of the fox is very clear, and if there´s no really darker areas around, there´s no contrast, and therefore no actual highlight. the animal and the whole scene would appear much better if the colors around were stronger.
also the anatomy of the fox could be better defined. in the original photo, i could see that the neck, for exampe, begin very under the point you painted.
and it´s not recommended that the figure is put so in the middle of the canvas, but more in a irregular way, to give movement to the painting.
well, just some tips. good job.
