Turbine-Electric Vessel Charon

This is the TEV Charon. She is an American ocean liner measuring 646 feet from bow to stern, and is named after the largest moon of Pluto, which was discovered by American astronomer James W. Christy on June 22nd, 1978. The Charon is designed after the MV Bermuda, which operated between New York and Hamilton as the flagship of the Furness Bermuda Line from 1928 until being destroyed by two separate fires in 1931, with her burned out hulk running aground off Sutherland while being towed to a scrapyard in 1933.
