Location Stalker Castle
Description
On April 3, 1975, the British comedy film Monty Python and the Holy Grail premiered in theaters in the United Kingdom. The scenes at the Castle Aaargh, the supposed location of the Holy Grail were filmed at a Scottish castle known as "Stalker." The RMMV Stalker Castle measures 528.28571429 feet long, and also serves as a memorial to the Union-Castle Line, who named their ships with the suffix "Castle," with such notables as the RMS Arundel Castle, the RMMV Capetown Castle, and the RMS Transvaal Castle. The Stalker Castle proves to be a very safe ship thanks to her six sets of gantry davits capable of deploying her lifeboats even in the event of a great list.
