Description
This is the MS Ariel. She measures 781 feet in length, and is named after the fourth-largest moon of Uranus, which was discovered by British astronomer William Lassell on the 24th of October, 1851. The Ariel and her sister ship are modeled after the RMS Mauretania of 1938, which was the first ship constructed for the Cunard-White Star Line following the merger of its constituent companies in 1934.
