Gas Turbine Ship Suttungr

This is the GTS Suttungr. This Canadian cargo ship of 270 feet in length is named after one of the outer moons of Saturn, which was discovered by the Canadian astronomers Brett J. Gladman and John J. Kavelaars on the 23rd of September, 2000. The Suttungr and her seven sister ships are modeled after the Type N3, a group of coastal cargo ships constructed for the United States Maritime Commission during the Second World War.
