Gas Turbine Ship Kari

This is the GTS Kari, an American cargo ship measuring 417 feet in length, and is named after one of the moons of Saturn, which was discovered by a group of American astronomers on March 6th, 2006. The Kari and her eight sister ships are modeled after the Type C1-A, a group of 46 cargo-carrying vessels constructed for the United States Maritime Commission during the Second World War.
