Gas Turbine Ship Eurydome

This is the GTS Eurydome, an American cargo ship measuring 373 feet in length, and named after one of the outer moons of Jupiter, which was discovered by a team of American astronomers on December 9th, 2001. The design of the Eurydome and her ten sister ships is based on the Type C1-M, a standardized class of cargo ships built for the United States Maritime Commission during the Second World War.
