Excess bleeding due to skin condition and/or alcohol/drug consumption will effect your healing ability. Blood also pushes out the ink we put in so you might need more extensive touch-ups. This though is a generalization. Some people bleed like crazy but suffer no ill effects. Still if you bleed excessively throughout a tattoo, more than likely you artist will stop and reschedule you for shorter tattoo sessions to minimize stress to the area.
