Beside him a few waves gently splashed against the quayside and the wet paving stones only showed the grey light of the covered sky. On top of an old fish box some seagulls had sat closer to each other. It was cold. He had put on coat, scarf and warm gloves and had gone home earlier today. That they had not to grudge him. The shallow rain made it difficult to clearly make out the other side of the habor basin. A fish trawler went out for the open sea and some seagulls followed him. He had never been here really. Even though the habor was nearly just in front of his door. But searching for a rest this was the right place to come. It had been a very tough day at work today. All the filing he already had to do day by day in a addtion a lot of paperworks for the accounts department and that stupid extra job they had given him.
