I should really try to be more active on here. It's just difficult. Time to complain about my workload!!

So we're doing Mahler's 6th in Orchestra. This piece is like an hour and a half long. It's not particularly hard, just. So much. There's so much of it. 
In String Orchestra we're doing a Bloch piece that I like a lot as well as a piece that was written just for us. Rather it was commissioned by our instructor? It's from a colleague of hers, Omelchanko (or something like that.) It's. Uh. Modern. I guess. I think he likes metal, going off of how often the time signature changes. 

I have to maintain at least a B in Music Theory to keep my Theory/Comp major. It's not too bad and I do enjoy the class. There's not a lot of homework there at least. 
Musicianship is never easy for me. orz Aural training is difficult and time consuming. We have to log 90 minutes per unit. Life is hard.

English is writing intensive and tbh I've been kind of ignoring it since it's not as important to me. I need to get my crap together for that class. It's interesting and I like it, I just put it on the furthest back burner. 

Piano actually is easier this semester?? 

I have a Music Lit class which I typically spend online because it's mostly just listening to music. Not too bad. 

I think the time consuming things are the orchestras and the private lesson. I have to get ready for my sophomore comps and we're also having a once monthly performance class where we perform for each other. Terrifying. Basically I need to have a few solos down really quick. 

Then there's composition which has been stepped up. I need to analyze a full score, write my own thing, maintain my B, and attend different composition forums each month. Actually, we were supposed to have one today but it was called off??
But since it was, I can go to a concert tonight in Cincinnati. Aaaw yeeuh. Plus I think I can make it count for credit. 

I've actually made friends with a few freshman, and that's pretty nice. It sucks to feel all alone. I also made friends with a couple exchange students. (\o/) I'm going to teach one some piano and he's going to help me learn Chinese. Not sure which kind, but. YEAH. 

Also if anyone's interested in what I'm working on rn. It only goes to 1:40 at the moment. It's not finished after all- But I'm too lazy to cut the empty part off. |D
