I love Applejack by Shinjuchan I love Applejack by Shinjuchan
I  APPLEJACK

While I canít say that Iím all that very keen on the new 4th generation My Little Ponies, it was Applejack that I knew I just HAD to have. What a grand, wonderful explosion of nostalgic glory that was for me seeing that! Applejack had been my all-time, most favorite pony since I was given my first one as a birthday present in 1984 when I was 9-years old. I have a photograph here online right now of myself from that same time surrounded by my collection. Of all of the ones that I had, all of the different types and more & more fancier varieties that would come later, it was still my Jack that I loved the very most of all óYouíll notice that he is firmly grasped in my hand: [link]

I still own that same pony today in fact, as well as the rest of my original collection from when I was a little girl.

Just a small note: Yes, I know that Applejack is technically a girl, but to me, she had always been a Ďheí and so that is why I say Ďhimí in referring to her. Thereís no need to call me up on it.

Is funny you call him a "He" because the male version of Applejack from an alternate universe, that the fandom created, is still call Applejack while all the others change names XD

Yes they were. I have all my original MLP's still. My daughter already knows that it will be in my will that I shall return from the grave to haunt her should she sell or get rid of any of them. *lol* I have Applejack in a number of versions, some rare, but I always wanted a plushy. Perhaps the G4's will eventually provide that.

i think the old mlps looked too much like bulky horses... the only pony of the 4th gen i realy dont like is twilight sparkle (she reminds me of powerpuff girls) and scootaloo (her color scheme sucks)

How does Twilight reminds you of Powerpuff Girls?
She remind me more of Panty and Stocking than anything else :iconstockingplz:
And Scootaloo is an immigrant from the 3th gen so blame the color scheme on that.

But of course you would say that. It's hard to feel much for something you didn't grow up with as opposed to the remake(s). But I imagine it would be like if they remade something that is a favorite of yours now 20 years later down the road and have that generation tell you it's better than what you liked. It's okay though. Remakes maintain fan interest.

Greeting fellow Applejack fan. Nice to know I'm not alone. I had other ponies before that birthday and I got still more after that --Twice As Fancy, So Soft, Big Brothers, and still Applejack remained my special favorite. Today, besides my original, I own other variations, some OOAKS, and a assortment of other AJ related things. I just love him ^^
