Today's inktober turned out much simpler than some of the others but I really like it (in all honesty, I should try to keep the rest simple too if I want to retain my sanity). October 9th is featuring Inghelene's character named Cesha. I really like her smooth, sleek anatomy (with markings, her design is actually rather complex). She likes to live in rainforests, so I drew some fan palms in the background. I hope you like it!Details

Ah, finally I can leave a comment! It's just been sitting in my inbox like a little sparkling light through this otherwise dark season. It is absolutely gorgeous to the point that I've spent what time I earlier found to comment, staring rather than typing. ^^'
It's just.. so well drawn!
Heck, I've always been really found of traditional art, and till this day I find the most gorgeous pieces to usually be those purely drawn in ink. There's just something to crosshatching in opposition to normal solid shading that absolutely blows my mind and leave me to wonder. And your works are no exception by far, but deliberately and meticulously display such precise strokes that eventually gather to show both texture and form.
While Cesha herself has rather smooth and simple design outside her markings, you've found plenty of time to add details through texturizing the shading. And the way your hand dance through the lines, breaking them up into little lines that evolves into further shading is absolutely amazing!
To add to this, the pure black shapes of the fan palms really contrast the white shapes and make her stand out well and add a touch of atmosphere to the piece.
Ah, all of this! So wonderful! Thank you so much time for this absolutely wonderful piece. Not to mention taking time to ship it to me as well! It's absolutely amazing, and I am deeply honoured to receive it! ;o; <3
