Sorry if I missed something, but why do Kim and Ron stay as mice? Is the laser actually permenent? Or do they actually wanna stay mice?

wonder what kind of holiday mice Ron and Kim have remember holiday episodes of classic Tom and Jerry with Jerry mouse gathering all that food giant to him.

as said hope to see more comics with mouse Kim Possible. after latest update hope to see more with Bonnie the mouse and you got me interesting after Bonnie mentioning Kim is still head cheer leader to see how that works as a mouse if the future.
