Mummy's not very experienced at this. You'll have to forgive her inability to be mummy to both of you at once.

I hope you're not spending too much time modifying your PJs. It would be a shame if you wasted time finishing the edges of the wing holes when the PJs don't last long enough to unravel anyway.

I kinda hope you keep going with this and don't drop it. That Tia does something pretty stupid and is then punished for it.
The fact that so many are complaining is a good sign. it means you really are reaching them so take advantage of that and really make your fans squirm.

I understand that Tia needs less care than Luna, but it still seems she has been slighted, especially to her I guess. Her mom basically forgot about her by the end of her birthday, yet again understandable to some degree, especially to the readers. And while grace is still talking to her, things like saying tia was the one who knocked off the bed sheets after grace was the one who threw her in the floor and not even giving her the right food (she's been on solids like oatmeal) is kinda just neglectful.
Totally understandable that Luna needs more care, but that doesn't mean Tia doesn't need any. Little Tia, still a small child mentally and with only a year of experience, wouldn't be able to suddenly become so independent overnight. Though what do i know of magic horse babies.
I do know I love this story though, and grace probably is just so caught up she doesn't realize it. Huh, my guess is that she'll realize it during a Luna nap scene. Can't wait for what ever happens.

I understand that, but she just gave Tia a baby bottle. I'm pretty sure Grace is going to need to give Tia a liiiittle bit more attention than she currently is. I also understand that's kind of the joke, but MAN does it make me feel bad for Tia.

true that (as a father myself) but it wouldn't hurt to talk with lil tia about this, but I also guees that grace is also more or less still a child and can't be expected to operate 100% as a parent should

This is how it is in real life too. Younger kids need more attention than older ones. If Grace keeps babying Tia like she's still a baby, Tia will never be able to grow independent from Grace and that can lead to a lot of problems in the future. Luna on the other hand HAS to be dependent of Grace because she IS a baby. Tia isnt. Tia is closer to the mentality and functionality of a five year old. She still needs Grace, but she can rely on herself for things too (she's just used to Grace doing them for her). Luna is basically a newborn, needing to be watched and cared for 24/7 until she begins to learn to be able to do things herself.

Now everyone needs to just shoosh. Stop bitching about logical parenting. (Sorry for hijacking the sticky Shieltar)

Poor Tia she has to be more growed up now, drinking her baba herself.  She's ganna have a tantrum isn't she?  Though I have a feeling Luna is the one who will calm her down, even Celestia can not resist the cute of Woona!

Ohhhhh boy! Can you just IMAGINE what might happen when a magical reality-altering, moving the sun, pony might do if she throws a tantrum? (Makes big explosions multiple times, people turning into ponies, buildings disappearing and reappearing, the sun flying wildly through the sky in relation to her fits of anger, with even the bird hiding until the whole thing blows over or until Mommy gets things under control.)

Man... these people are TERRIBLE parents.  Sure, they've got lots of love to give (or one of them does), but they were only barely ready to raise one child.  It was hugely irresponsible of them to create another, especially on a whim.

I'm not so sure about that.  It certainly stops some, and with good reason.  I'm not a parent myself, but I do know that bringing a child into the world is never something to be taken lightly, especially if there's currently already a child in the household.  The needs of their firstborn have to be taken into consideration, as well as whether or not they have room in their lives to adequately care for a new one.

Bringing a living, breathing, thinking being into the world is arguably the most awesome responsibility imaginable, and any parent with a shred of sense should give it a lot of good thought and planning and preparation.  Celestia and Luna aren't pets or experiments, they're young people who have unique lives and hardships ahead of them.  Raising one kid is exhausting.  Raising two should possibly be the greatest test of their lives.  And if not, they're not doing it right.

And when you add in the fact that these are new life-forms whose needs they don't yet fully understand, and who ALSO have uncharted abilities to alter reality on an unknown scale, well... that sends the uncertainty factor skyrocketing up the scale.

At any rate, they should've at least thought of Luna as more than a birthday present.

I can understand focusing more on Luna than Celestia but to accuse Celestia of making a mess that she herself made is inexcusable.

And shouldn't Celestia be on solid foods now?

it hasn't been expressed yet... but it will be.

basically spontaneous ponyfication happens flawlessly, including clothes transference.  however will induced un / ponyfication requires skill and does not yet (if ever) carry clothes over.

Okay, seriously? It's one thing to put more attention on Luna, but it seems like she's focusing on nothing BUT Luna, completely ignoring Celestia. Not feeding her, talking mainly to Luna, stating she wants to play only with Luna, it doesn't seem like regular parent neglect. It seems more like she's favoring Luna now.

bottles of milk don't make themselves and Tia can lift a metal ladder with magical telecanisis... Tia is perfectly capable of feeding herself from this point forwards.  Luna isn't.  Luna NEEDS more attention than Tia right now.  and the experince of being expected to do basic things like feeding herself is an important lesson.  One Grace needs Tia to learn, as she can't do everything.  It's only neglect from the eyes of a small child who doesn't understand.

Okay, I understand what you're trying to do now, BUT there is still a fatal flaw in this. TIA IS A YEAR OLD. She DOESN'T know how to use magic yet. She just does it at random. Just because she can, doesn't mean she knows how to yet. She STILL needs someone to teach her these things. Expecting someone to learn it on their own is not a guaranteed strategy. It works even less well if the one meant to learn is STILL A BABY. And no, her incredible smarts doesn't mean it's okay. She needs to be taught how things work, she can't just learn them on her own. She needs a jumping off point, she can't just be thrown into the wild like this.

Well she can always:

A) Go to her father and claim him as her "father"
or
B) Go to her BF (yes he is her BF or at least that's what I got from the comic) and claim him as her "Father"

Or meh I got nothing.
