Description

I really had a fun time drawing this establishing shot. The big challenge was to make sure we could see Gary well enough to make a big impression of his power and royalty. Eventually I decided to add a few flaming altars in the room to cast Gary's shadow really BIG up on the walls.

ING! I LOVE THIS SCENE!!! Tbh, when I first saw this scene, I INSTANTLY had a cute fantasy of where I was captured by King Gary and the other snails in their gooey slime, and turned into a cozy goo statue as I fuse with the goo! Plus, the giant torches really gave me a mysterious, yet cozy atmosphere!!! ^^
