Description

Just thought I'd upload an unedited view of the engine that will be my object of interest for the time being. 140 202-3 is parked at a disused platform, waiting to be towed into the scrap dealer's yard. Someone has written "Ade!" on the front in chalk, meaning as much as "Farwell!". And I thought I was obsessed with trains... Strangely enough, someone must have wiped it off, as the writing was not so be seen today. Dunno who or why...

The overgrowth alongside the tracks is a bad BAD sign of things.

Since I must admit I know little to nothing about these engines...is this a conventional diesel-electric, or something else?
