Christmas Transport

We bought our Christmas tree today. But there was a problem. The place where we usually buy one was almost out of trees. Apparently, with the economic recession, many people can't afford to go on vacation, so they stay home and thus buy trees. This meant that we had to find a tree elsewhere, but that also meant that our landlord's son wouldn't be able to fetch it with his pickup.

So... we managed to get a 2.83 meter/9.3 foot tree that's magnificent in almost every way. But we had to get it home in my little A3. And what do you know, we actually managed to get the tree in, just fitting between windshield and trunk lid, with room to spare, and with one of the back seats still left for mom to occupy.

And after we completed this feat, I kept laughing my ass off.

Who needs a pickup truck when you have a hatchback? :XD: Especially one that gets insane mileage. :B

Yes, I admit, I couldn't see my righthand mirror. Or anything on the right side tbh.

I like that red SUV in back....what make is it? You could stuff 2 christmas trees in there and family to spare.

Well, it is a van, so it should offer enough space for bulky stuff. It's a Renault Kangoo.
